The second event that was part of the Oxfordshire High Sherriff challenge was the annual Oxford Town and Gown 10km road race. A total of 5,000 runners pounded the 10 km course that wound through the streets of Oxford.
Amongst them were 75 people who were raising money for the High Sherriff challenge, including Lucy Dunn from Lucy Group and Ian Ashcroft, Kerrie Bates and Alistair Silence from the Lucy Real Estate team.
The event started and finished at the Oxford University Parks and according to the Lucy team participants, was extremely well organised and supported, with a good atmosphere and enthusiastic spectators urging them on throughout the entire course.
