Lucy Group and Lucy Real Estate once again joined forces to take part in the 3rd element of the High Sherriff’s Sporting Challenge, a Hockey Tournament. This took place in Spring 2018 at Oxford Hawks Hockey Club.
Eleven companies took part in the matches including the Lucy team formed of: Alasdair Sillence, Hannah Brown, Kerrie Bates, Claire Dean, Madeline Laxton, Guy Hill, Michael Gardner and Ed James. They played a 7 a side simplified version of hockey called RUSH hockey, which is played with an oversized yellow ball on half a pitch. There was a free BBQ serving food and drinks to keep everyone going.
The match went very well and Team Lucy made it through to the quarter finals but were then knocked out. It was another fantastic and fun evening in aid of the High Sheriff’s drive to get Oxford moving.
